<div>In my work fleeting moments and strange actions are twisted into off-kilter fictions. Emotions are reoriented in ambiguous domesticity. The care and/or abuse evident in power dynamics and the miscommunications inherent in intimacy peek out from behind fast and fluid markmaking. These lines of humanity are often adhered to discarded materials, flimsy paper, or floppy fabric. Unearthly colors vary from thick to thin within cropped frames of unstretched canvas and become distorted by lumpy stuffing. Pillowy forms covered with women crying radiate both comfort and trauma.</div>
